Jeevana Education Project: Empowering Lives Through Compassion and Care
In 2004, Jeevana initiated the Education Aid project, a remarkable initiative that has been making a significant impact on the lives of 140 underprivileged children and their families. This project focuses on providing annual scholarships to students from class 1 to 12, enabling them to pursue their education without financial constraints.
For students in the Junior section, spanning from class 1 to 8, an annual scholarship of Rs 2500 is granted. Likewise, for students in the Senior section, encompassing class 9 to 12, an annual scholarship of Rs 5000 is awarded. These scholarships are disbursed at the beginning of the academic year, ensuring that students have the necessary resources to start their schooling journey on a positive note. By offering financial support through these scholarships, the Education Aid project aims to empower these deserving students, allowing them to access quality education and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Special Education Aid :
Jeevana extends its education aid primarily to students from grades 1 to 12, ensuring that they receive the necessary support for their academic journey. However, in exceptional cases, deserving graduate students also receive assistance. This additional aid is aimed at helping them cover various expenses, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, examination fees, and other related costs. The aid provided to graduate students is typically a one-time payment of Rs 10,000/-, aiming to alleviate their financial burden and facilitate their educational pursuits.
Jeevana Medical Aid :

Financial Assistance for the Elderly:
This Jeevana scheme was primarily established to support home maids who are unable to continue working due to age-related illness or disabilities. Under this program, eligible individuals receive a monthly pension of Rs 700/-, which is distributed every three months. Currently Jeevana supports 7 people in this scheme.
